This is a 2-hour flow test taking measurements every 15 minutes to determine pressure and flow rate of the well at 8 intervals. The P&F test will determine whether or not the well can sustain flow for a 2-hour period and what the pressure and flow rate are at those intervals.

A foundation elevation reading is used to show if your foundation has shifted due to heaving/settling of soil. We use a tool called a ZIPLEVEL, which is a high precision pressurized hydrostatic altimeter. The tool very precisely measures the weight of a proprietary liquid sealed within its cord relative to a reference cell in the hub of its reel and will show movement as small as 0.050”. This reading is outside the scope of a residential inspection but can be added for additional objective detail about the state of the foundation.

A formaldehyde/VOC inspection use a hand-held device to measure formaldehyde and volatile organic compound concentrations throughout the structure.
