Regan is a  Council-Certified Indoor Environmentalist and a Science major with a degree in Plant Science and Environmental Management, working in plant pathology prior to the indoor environmental industry.

She is also certified by the American Mold and Moisture Association as a Certified Environmental Mold Assessor and certified for the examination and identification of fungi via microscopy. Regan has strengths in microbiology, building science fundamentals, and mechanical systems.
