Emily with her husband has owned and operated their logistically demanding and successful Events business for 20+ years. During the Covid-19 shutdowns in 2020, they decided it would be a great opportunity that would allow Emily to pursue her lifelong interest and passion in the building sciences, construction, and inspections. Emily has extensive experience in renovations and building systems, is a board-certified inspector, and has determined to utilize that experience and expertise as a professional Inspector to the benefit of her clients.
As a veteran of the US Marine Corps, Emily has a high work ethic and does not shy away from rolling up her sleeves and tackling some of the physical demands required of a good inspector. She goes the extra mile for her clients! Her extensive business acumen has given her the eloquence, professional poise, and organizational skills needed to provide detailed, comprehensive, and competent inspections with exceptionally well-written reports that are second to none.

Her own words
Since a young age, I've been fascinated by construction and building systems. It's empowering to understand how structural and other systems work in a home and liberating that I can apply this knowledge during my own renovations.
Home inspections have given me an outlet to share this knowledge with my clients so they too can be empowered and protected during a home purchase. I love helping people this way. Every home can be different, old and new, complex and simple, they each have their own personalities of construction techniques, evolutionary changes and sometimes very interesting characteristics. My favorite part of inspecting is finding those "easter eggs", the hidden surprises that are just waiting there for me to discover.
