Hello and thank you for reviewing my profile.   What brought me to home inspection?  I purchased a home in 2003 and felt as though the inspection was not very thorough.  I decided I would take the required coarse and see if this career would be a good fit for me..... turns out it was/is!   Prior to home inspection I had more than most when it comes to different jobs and I renovated several of my own homes.  All of which helped me in this field.  I started my first inspection company in 2004 and shortly thereafter Katrina hit.  Katrina was bad to be sure, however inspectors were needed for multiple branches of government, so I stepped up and helped out.   During the process of registering for one such organization, I struck up a conversation with someone from House Call and he said he was very happy working for them.   A few weeks later I received several calls from an employee of House Call requesting a meeting.  The rest is history, I started with them in 2006.  House Call has always been a local New Orleans company, starting out in the late 90s as a termite treatment and fumigation company and in early 2000s they added home inspection to the mix.  This is to say that I am licensed to inspect for termites too.  The company has since franchised in 2008 and I was offered first dibs on my territory NOLA, I quickly agreed and became one of the owners.   I'm proud to say I've performed over 5000 home inspections (but who's counting).  After all I did start this process to help people out and at the end of the day, that is what I strive for by being thorough and accessible.   In 2018 I was appointed by the Governor of Louisiana to the Louisiana Board of Home Inspectors for the 2nd Congressional District.  I look forward to seeing you in the near future and if I can be of help in any way, please feel free to reach out to me.  Thank you!!
