Midlands Home Inspections president and lead inspector, Brent Simmerman is an Omaha native, has been married for 22 years with two daughters, ages 18 and 14. After working third shift for 15 years, and doing light constriction, remodeling, plumbing and electrical work during the day, he decided enough was enough and started his pursuit of opening Midlands Home Inspections.

Brent is a member of American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI); has completed courses sponsored by ASHI and passed the National Home Inspectors exam to become a Certified Home Inspector. He attended and passed the strict EPA courses to become a Certified Radon Measurement specialist, licensed be the state of Nebraska. He holds a Certification to perform Mold Inspections and Indoor Air Quality testing through MICRO.

When not performing inspections, Brent enjoys his time with family and friends; and in what time is left for outdoor recreations such as hunting and fishing.
