Charlie Hovey is a former custom home builder originally from Northern Virginia with more than 30 years of experience in the construction and home inspection industries. Throughout his career, he has trained numerous home inspectors and built a reputation for delivering thorough, knowledgeable, and client-focused evaluations.

In addition to his inspection expertise, he has owned and operated multiple construction-related businesses, including a roofing company, giving him a well-rounded, hands-on perspective that benefits every client and property he evaluates.

In the early 2000s, Charlie also played an active role in advancing the home inspection industry in Florida by petitioning the Florida Legislature to require licensing for home inspectors. Those efforts contributed to legislation passed in 2007, which officially took effect in July 2010.
