Residential Inspection
A residential home inspection is a non-invasive examination of the major systems and components of a house. (The inspector will ONLY report and describe all defects observed during the inspection.) Typically performed by a trained and certified professional. It's like getting a thorough health check for your home! The inspector will look at everything from the foundation and roof to the electrical wiring, plumbing, and HVAC system. We'll check for safety hazards, major defects, and potential maintenance needs. Ultimately, a home inspection gives you a clear picture of the house's condition and helps you make informed decisions about buying, selling, or living in it. Think of it as an investment in your peace of mind and wallet!

Sewer Scope (sewer lateral inspection)
With a camera attached to the end of a cable, sewer camera inspections can travel through pipes and capture video recordings of the interior of your sewer waste system. While this operation is taking place, a monitor located at ground and roof levels allows the inspector to watch what the camera sees and identify any underlying sewer issues. If a sewer pipe is recorded to be clogged, bellied, cracked, crushed, root infiltration or completely disconnected, a video camera inspection will allow your plumber to quickly and accurately address the issue so that they can get to work on the right solution.

Thermography Inspection
The thermal imaging camera captures infrared radiation emitted by objects, translating it into a colorful image where warmer areas appear brighter and cooler areas appear darker. Think of it like a heat map for your home. The Process: Scanning: The inspector will systematically scan both the interior and exterior of the house with the camera, paying close attention to areas like walls, ceilings, floors, windows, and doors. Image Analysis: The captured images are then analyzed to identify any unusual temperature patterns. For example, a cold spot on a wall might indicate poor insulation or a hidden water leak. Reporting: The inspector will compile a detailed report outlining their findings, including thermal images, explanations of any potential issues, and recommendations for further investigation or repairs. What it can reveal: Moisture Issues: Leaks, plumbing problems, and even mold growth can show up as cooler areas on the thermal image. Air Leaks: Drafts and infiltration of cold air can be identified by spotting areas where warm air escapes from the house. Insulation Deficiencies: Areas with poor insulation will appear colder, indicating potential energy loss and higher heating/cooling bills. Electrical Problems: Overheated electrical components can be detected before they cause a fire hazard. Benefits of Thermography: Non-invasive: No need to tear down walls or disrupt your daily life. Early detection: Catches problems before they become major and expensive repairs. Energy efficiency: Helps identify areas where you can improve your home's insulation and save on energy costs. Peace of mind: Knowing your home is in good shape can give you valuable peace of mind. Things to keep in mind: Thermography can be a valuable addition to your home inspection, providing insights into the hidden health of your home and potentially saving you money and headaches down the road.
