My name is JD Cavell and I am the owner and operator of Reside Home Inspection Services, LLC. My entire life I have been around the real estate industry. My father was a home builder and land developer, so growing up I was around construction constantly. After a brief detour in the oil field diving industry I began working as the head of repairs and maintenance for an 1,100 door apartment portfolio that also included single family homes. For several years spotting and resolving deficiencies was my number one job. After that I became a general contractor and participated in several real estate transactions to begin building my own rental portfolio. The value I gained in those transactions from hiring an inspector was priceless. I have embarked on this industry with a single goal, to provide every inspection as if I was the one buying the property.
