Allow me to introduce myself. I am Pierre Fortin and for the past 32 years I have been the Owner and Operator/President of Fortin Construction Inc., a licensed residential builder/general contractor of residential custom homes and high-end residential renovations and remodels. Originally from Massachusetts, I moved to Florida in 1999 and have been serving the residential community in Lake, Sumter, Marion and Volusia Counties.

In 1987, fresh out of high school, I jumped full feet into the residential construction industry and took a chance at starting my own business, being my own boss and creating a successful company from the ground up. 

With the expectations of nothing but success, failure has never been an option for me. I learned things from my dad and my older brother. I also learned by trial and error. My dad and mom raised my brother, sister, and I with the mindset that anything you do, you “do it right or don’t do it at all”.

My goal from the beginning was to establish strong customer service and relationships with my customers and to always assure them that they are my number one priority. I pride myself on this goal that I achieved very early on and have continued to practice these values every day.

The residential home industry and serving my customers has been my passion. Over the years, I worked my way through the ups and downs and the trials and errors of owning my own business

As a builder for so many years, I have had to constantly maintain familiarity with every aspect of a home, both inside and out. Recognizing the similarities to being a Home Inspector that I decided I needed to take all those years of construction and devote this experience and knowledge to these services as well.
