Certified Home Inspector

As the son of a WWII era vet, Steve developed a strong desire to serve his country which led him to proudly serve in the USAF.  During military service, he honed his skills as an electrician to a competence suited to coach, mentor and provide technical training to others.  The specialized electrical trade experience served to initiate further interest and pursuits in a variety of other construction trades.

Electrical Expertise

Electrical experience spanned from installation of new electrical systems to performance of preventative and corrective maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment, maintaining currency in the installation and compliance with national and local codes.  Steve also conducted regular quality assurance inspections and generated reports of findings for the facility supervisor.

Plumbing & Mechanical Inspection

Earning certifications as a Plumbing Inspector and Mechanical Inspector from the International Code Council, Steve has demonstrated competency in the inspection of plumbing systems, mechanical heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and the application of the plumbing, mechanical, and fuel gas codes and standard industry practices.

General Construction Experience

Steve’s interest in construction and building trades has developed many opportunities to expand his knowledge and experience with various construction projects lending to his desire to pursue further education and acquire certifications in the field of building inspection.  

Home Inspection 

Steve has earned multiple inspection certifications with the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors including; roof, exterior, basement, foundation, crawlspace, structure, heating cooling, plumbing, electrical, fireplace, attic, insulation, ventilation, doors, windows, interior as well as inspection standards of practice and code of ethics earning him credentials as a Certified Professional Inspector an InterNACHI Certified Home Inspector.
