A great teacher once told me, a home inspection isn’t about giving a pass or failing grade to a house; it’s about providing an education.

A house may just be the biggest purchase in your lifetime, and just like any other purchase, you want to do your due diligence. That’s where I come in.

My name is Bret Jackson, AKA the Albino Rhino. I’ve put my head through many things in life, but honestly enjoy looking through houses! I’ve had almost 2 decades experience working as a licensed Realtor in New Jersey, and know what it takes to get deals done in a timely manner. I cringe, knowing that some home buyers waive inspections because they feel pressure to beat other potential offers; that’s flat out scary!

When you search for houses, the average buyer spends less than an hour in the house before they place an offer. Is that really enough time to feel confident in your decision? Do you know if the house is updated the right way? Is it safe? Do all the major systems work properly? Where are the utility shut offs in case of emergency? I’ll do my best to answer these questions and more.

* I hold the Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) certification through InterNACHI
* Im state licensed (MET15955) to do Radon testing as a separate service or part of the home inspection package
* I offer mold/air quality testing to make sure you can breathe easy.
* I use thermal imaging to see cold spots and possible moisture leaks
* I hold an FAA Part 107 license to operate a drone professionally; often used to do roof inspections safely and can take aerial photography as well.
* I use a technology driven program called Spectora to provide top notch, detailed inspection reports

I also vow to be flexible with scheduling appointments, mornings or afternoons or possibly even weekends. I can have reports back for review in 24-48hrs.
