Four years of military experience cultivated a sense of commitment to quality standards for Steve Fish. He now applies that same discipline to excellence and standards in his profession as a home inspector. His career began as a Residential Code Inspector with the County of Berkeley before joining creating Sabal Home Inspections. Steve’s long list of professional accomplishments include:

• ICC (International Code Council) Certified Residential Combination Inspector
• South Carolina Licensed Residential Building Inspector
• ASHI Certified Inspector (American Society of Home Inspectors)
• ASHI at Home Training Program (renowned as the most respected and comprehensive training)

When asked of his decision to make home inspections his work, his response was, ” I do what I love and love what I do. My father once told me, find a job you love, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” Steven brings this mantra to every home he inspects. His level to detail is unmatched.

Since growing up in Denver, Colorado, Steve has called Charleston his home for the last 30 years. He’s married and the father of three. Steve spends his free time involved in BSA Scouts, on an archery range, or in the woods.
