Jared, a Baton Rouge native, embodies the vibrant spirit of Louisiana. Growing up in a typical large Cajun family, he was immersed in the rich traditions of his culture, from the mouthwatering cuisine to the soulful music that permeated every gathering. Although Jared moved to Dallas, Texas at a young age, his Cajun heritage and love for all things Louisiana stayed with him wherever he went.

After completing his studies at Texas State University, where he earned a degree in Business Administration, Jared thrived in a 14-year career as a business development manager in the beverage industry. Representing renowned global brands in the DFW and Northern California markets, he excelled in his roles. However, a yearning for family and cultural roots drew him back to Southeast Louisiana, where he focused on developing the New Orleans market for the world’s #1 soft drink company.

Jared's entrepreneurial spirit burned bright within him, and he decided to combine his passion for entrepreneurship with his fascination for home building, architecture, and design. This led him to establish Oberlin Home Inspection in 2018.

Today, OHI operates in DFW and Greater New Orleans, bringing a wealth of residential building knowledge, spanning from historic late 1700s homes to new constructions, while upholding industry-leading service standards. Jared's journey is a testament to his unwavering dedication to his Cajun heritage, his entrepreneurial spirit, and his commitment to providing exceptional home inspection services.
