Meet Michael McDonald, a licensed home inspector with a strong background in pest control and radon testing—and a lifelong connection to the inspection industry. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in home inspections, Michael was practically raised on crawlspaces and inspection stories. Family dinners often included tales from the field, sparking an early interest that eventually became his career.

Before becoming a home inspector, Michael built his expertise by performing termite inspections and radon testing, gaining firsthand experience with how homes age, how problems develop, and where issues like moisture, pests, and air quality tend to hide. This foundation gives him a sharper eye and a deeper understanding of what really matters during an inspection.

In addition to being a licensed home inspector, Michael is qualified to perform a wide range of ancillary services, including radon testing, termite inspections, mold sampling, and pool inspections. He performs inspections throughout the DMV region, helping buyers and homeowners gain clear, reliable insight into their properties.

When he’s not out inspecting homes, Michael enjoys staying active, working out, and spending time with friends and family. He’s also a proud Baltimore Ravens fan—so Sundays in the fall usually involve football and plenty of team spirit.
