Mitchell Shaw is double certified by the International Code Council and the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors. He studied technical theatre at Georgia Southern University where he met his now-wife Kelsey. They lived in Savannah, Ga., for 5 years where he worked in the hospitality industry. They moved back to the Atlanta area after the birth of their first daughter, Michaela. Soon after Michaela’s birth, a second daughter Madelyn was welcomed to the family as well. He currently lives in Snellville, Ga., wherein in his free time he enjoys all things geeky and nerdy. Mitchell has been building and using his hands all of his life. That, along with a passion for teaching and passing information onto others, led him to pursue becoming a home inspector. Not only does he love using his knowledge to ensure that any house he inspects will be a great home for the family looking to live there, but also distributing the technical details in a way that can be easily understood.
